While Anthropologie's sister store Urban Outfitters established fact for its designer collaborations with all the likes of Rachel Comey, the retailer will launch its series of team-ups April 5 by way of a new Manufactured in Kind collection.
Exclusive edition designer collaborations have for ages been creating hype and attracting retailers to shop bought stores including H&M and Target, with all the retailers selecting one big-name brand to synergy with at any given time.
But Anthropologie's new collection is distinguishable since it might find 11 separate team-ups being unveiled all at one time via the Manufactured in Kind online platform, using the brand hosting multiple exhibitions monthly on the site.
The debut collaborators include established creators for example Gregory Parkinson, John Patrick and Samantha Pleet, along with lesser known names including Rachel Rose and British brand Place Nationale. Anthropologie's international stores can also be stocking a number of the upcoming collaborations, including May's Charlotte by Charlotte Taylor collection.
